Terra Balcanica Targets European Investors With Bosnia Antimony Project

Terra Balcanica Resources has expanded its European capital markets strategy by appointing DGWA GmbH as its financial markets adviser, seeking greater exposure among investors focused on critical minerals, strategic metals and European supply-chain security.

The Canadian-listed explorer, trading under CSE: TERA, FRA: UB10 and OTCQB: TEBAF, has engaged the Frankfurt-based advisory firm to increase visibility among strategic investors, institutional funds, family offices and industrial participants. The company’s primary focus is the Viogor Project in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, a polymetallic exploration portfolio located in the Srebrenica mining district with exposure to silver, antimony, zinc, gold and lead.

Frankfurt Strategy Targets European Critical Minerals Capital

Terra Balcanica’s move comes as European investors and industrial groups place increasing attention on secure access to critical raw materials. The European critical minerals agenda has shifted toward developing additional extraction, processing and recycling capacity within Europe-aligned supply chains by 2030. Manufacturers, defence companies and clean-technology industries have become increasingly focused on materials with concentrated global supply.

Among these commodities, antimony has gained strategic importance due to its use in flame retardants, alloys, defence applications, batteries, semiconductors and solar-related supply chains. Supply concerns and tighter geopolitical controls over critical minerals have increased attention on potential new sources. The appointment of a German financial adviser is intended to connect Terra Balcanica with the DACH investor market and broader European pools of resource-sector capital.

Viogor Project Advances Bosnia’s Silver-Antimony Exploration Profile

The company’s exploration portfolio remains focused on the Viogor Project, where drilling completed between 2022 and 2026 has identified high-grade silver-antimony mineralisation. Terra reported exploration results including approximately 650 g/t AgEq at Cumavici, located around 50 metres below surface, and 436 g/t AgEq over 20 metres at Brezani.

The results represent exploration-stage findings rather than defined reserves. Further work will be required to establish mineral continuity, scale, metallurgical characteristics and an eventual economic assessment. The reported grades provide the company with a technical basis for advancing the project within a market increasingly focused on strategically important metals.

Srebrenica District Provides Historical Mining Context

The Viogor Project is located within an underexplored area of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a jurisdiction with a long mining history but less exploration activity compared with several mature European mining regions. The project sits within the broader Western Tethyan Metallogenic Belt, a geological zone extending across south-eastern Europe that hosts multiple mineral systems.

Terra Balcanica is positioning Viogor within this geological context, highlighting its location in a historically productive mining district and its combination of precious metals and critical minerals. The company’s strategy reflects a broader reassessment of Balkan exploration opportunities as European markets seek greater proximity to mineral supply sources and reduced dependence on distant supply chains.

Critical Mineral Exposure Shapes Junior Mining Investment Approach

The role of DGWA GmbH is focused on increasing market awareness and connecting Terra Balcanica with potential European investors. The firm has stated that it has participated in more than 250 IPOs, financings, bond issues, dual listings, corporate finance transactions, roadshows and awareness campaigns.

For exploration companies, access to capital markets remains a key factor because value creation depends on staged financing, technical advancement and maintaining investor confidence. Unlike producing mining companies, early-stage explorers do not yet generate operating cash flow or have established reserves, feasibility studies or lender-ready development plans. Their valuation is based on exploration potential, geological confidence and the ability to advance projects through successive milestones.

Antimony Exposure Aligns With European Supply Priorities

The company’s antimony exposure represents a central element of its European investment narrative. Antimony is included among metals receiving increased attention because of supply disruption risks, defence applications and industrial substitution concerns. Limited Western production and challenges in developing new supply sources have increased market focus on projects with potential exposure to the metal.

Terra’s silver-antimony system at Viogor places the project within a broader discussion around future European-adjacent sources of critical mineral supply.

The company’s positioning also reflects wider interest in the Western Balkans, where countries including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and North Macedonia contain mineral systems that are being reassessed in the context of European raw-material security.

Project Development Requires Technical and Regulatory Progress

While critical-mineral exposure has increased investor interest, future development will depend on demonstrating technical and regulatory progress. Projects in the region must address permitting requirements, environmental standards, community engagement, infrastructure considerations and responsible exploration practices.

Terra Balcanica has stated that it is committed to Good International Industry Practice and sustainable health, safety and environmental management.

For investors, the next stage for Viogor will depend on whether exploration success can translate into a defined resource base and a development pathway aligned with modern European mining standards. The appointment of DGWA provides Terra Balcanica with a European market access strategy, but future valuation support will depend on continued technical advancement, including confirmation of mineral continuity, project scale and development potential.
