Cobra Resources Extends Manna Hill Copper Corridor Beyond 2.2 Kilometres

Cobra Resources has expanded the interpreted copper-mineralised corridor at its Manna Hill project in South Australia to more than 2.2 kilometres, identifying additional skarn systems at the Shadow Rose and Neptune Rose prospects as drilling continues across the project.

The latest interpretation extends the previously recognised Blue Rose mineralised corridor by approximately 600 metres. Copper anomalism has also been identified at the two additional prospects, potentially broadening the area under investigation beyond the established mineralised zone.

At Shadow Rose, preliminary field observations indicate up to 60 metres of continuous copper anomalism. The findings come from an ongoing drilling campaign that has completed 23 holes totalling approximately 2,000 metres, with the programme potentially expanding to as many as 58 holes.

Drilling Expands the Manna Hill Exploration Footprint

The identification of copper anomalism at Shadow Rose and Neptune Rose adds to the interpreted mineralised corridor and indicates that Manna Hill may contain multiple related mineralised zones rather than a single isolated occurrence. The additional skarn targets could provide grounds for extending exploration across a wider area, depending on the results of ongoing drilling and laboratory analysis. The current findings establish new geological targets but do not yet confirm the grade or economic significance of the mineralisation.

The enlarged corridor, extending beyond 2.2 kilometres, provides a broader framework for further exploration. Whether the additional targets warrant more extensive drilling will depend on the consistency and significance of the copper grades established through laboratory testing.

Laboratory Assays Required to Verify Copper Mineralisation

The copper indications reported to date are preliminary and are based largely on visual geological observations and portable X-ray fluorescence (XRF) measurements. These methods help identify areas for follow-up exploration but do not replace certified laboratory assays.

Cobra expects initial laboratory assay results within approximately four to six weeks. Those results will be important in determining whether the copper anomalism identified across the expanded corridor corresponds to substantial mineralisation at grades relevant to further project evaluation. Until certified assays become available, the additional skarn systems and the extended Blue Rose corridor remain exploration targets rather than established mineral resources.

Assay Results to Guide Further Exploration

The next stage of work will focus on verifying the preliminary geological observations and portable XRF indications through laboratory analysis. The results will help determine the distribution and continuity of copper mineralisation across Blue Rose, Shadow Rose and Neptune Rose.

If the assays confirm significant copper grades across the enlarged corridor, Cobra could use the results to guide further drilling and assess the potential for resource definition at Manna Hill. The current drilling programme, which could ultimately comprise 58 holes, provides the framework for continuing exploration as analytical results become available.
