Tlamino drilling returns 10.8 metres at 3.3 g/t gold equivalent

Northstone Resources reported new infill drilling results at Barje, a prospect at its Tlamino gold-silver project in southern Serbia, with intersections supporting continuity within the target zone. The company is targeting a maiden JORC resource for the December 2026 quarter.

One intercept measured 10.8 metres at 3.3 grams per tonne gold equivalent, while a second measured 17.6 metres at 1.8 grams per tonne gold equivalent. Northstone continues drilling in areas where mineralisation remains open.

The significance of the infill work is resource conversion rather than any single intercept. Drilling that defines a deposit’s geometry, continuity and grade distribution can support a formal resource model, providing a basis to assess whether the deposit may support open-pit or underground concepts, metallurgical testing and preliminary mine design.

Northstone’s Serbian portfolio also includes Timok East, which gives the company exposure to a geological setting separate from Tlamino. The project adds geographic diversification to a mining sector described as dominated by eastern Serbia and the Bor-Timok district.

Tlamino also broadens Serbia’s exploration focus beyond copper to precious metals and polymetallic systems. The next material milestones identified for the project include the maiden resource, follow-up drilling and metallurgical work.

Further evidence that resource growth can be converted into a credible development pathway is also among the milestones identified for Tlamino.
