Beowulf reviewing EIA for Kallak North Sweden

Beowulf is reviewing its environmental impact assessment for Kallak North to see whether any further submission is required before the Mining Inspectorate of Sweden sends all information to the Swedish National Heritage Board and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

Beowulf said it discussed the next steps in the review process for the Kallak North exploitation concession with the mining inspectorate on on 20 February and was invited to supplement the existing EIA for Kallak North even further should it wish to do so.

The company said it was now reviewing the EIA, first submitted to the County Administrative Board for the County of Norrbotten in April 2013 and significantly supplemented in April 2014 to determine if any further submission is require.
