Velocity Minerals Ltd. Initiates Phase I Drilling at Zlatusha Copper-Gold Project in Bulgaria

In a significant development for the mining industry, Velocity Minerals Ltd. has announced an update on its Zlatusha Copper-Gold Project, located in the Tier One Tintyava-Zlatusha epithermal-porphyry belt in Bulgaria. The drilling program, scheduled for the second quarter of 2024, will consist of approximately 3,000 meters of diamond drilling. This extensive exploration will target epithermal gold mineralization and the underlying porphyry copper-gold mineralization.

Zlatusha Property: A Goldmine of Potential

Zlatusha Property is situated within a Tier One porphyry copper-gold and epithermal belt, making it highly prospective for discovering these deposit types. In preparation for the upcoming drilling program, detailed mapping, soil and rock sampling, a ground radiometric survey, and a drone magnetic survey were completed in 2023.

Magnetic Survey: Identifying Target Areas

The magnetic survey conducted last year identified target areas for follow-up with detailed mapping and geochemistry. These findings have set the stage for the Phase I drill testing program, which aims to unlock the full potential of the Zlatusha Copper-Gold Project.
